Mediation and Promotion

Website Design and Logos  This is the website of the photographer Chris Johnson, he is actually one of the photographers I have been in contact with to be one of my mentors. I have taken screenshots to show you how the website is laid out and also how you are able to navigate into the different options on the menu. I have chosen to look at his website as this is the kind style and layout I would like my own website to have. This first image is the home page which is what you are brought straight to when entering his website address. In terms of a logo he has chosen not to use one and he simply has his name, Chris Johnson with Photography written underneath. which for me personally show a clear and simple way of showing your name as opposed to a logo.   This image below shows you the layout when you select the Portrait option on the selection bar across the top. Brief:  Knowle West Style Icons – big & small // brick & flesh // subtle & bold (2) The Photography Brief:  Knowle West Style Icons – big & small // brick & flesh // subtle & bold (a) Your mission is to: ·       Immerse yourself in the everyday routines and fabric of Knowle West, and ·       Discover and document your take on Knowle West’s Style Icons.  You will be helped with immersion through an introductory walk around the neighbourhood guided by someone from Knowle West.  Your selected Style Icons could range from large-scale buildings (such as the old cinema) to intricate brick-work patterns.
